Children of the Night, a 1985 television movie, featured Calhoun’s acting debut as Wanda. In Bagdad Cafe, she played Phyllis, the character’s daughter played by CCH Pounder (1987).
The only actor from Bagdad Cafe who appeared in the television series was Calhoun, however, the name of the character was altered to Debbie. Two seasons of the television adaptation were completed before it was cancelled.
